The engine is a Buick "Straight Eight" eight cylinder engine.
It has a Dynaflow transmission (one of the first automatic transmission designs ever produced.)
The body was built by the Flexible coachworks, somewhere between 20 and 30 were produced in 1949. There is still one in service with a funeral home in Medellin, Colombia.
The original color was black, however the factory repainted it so that it would match the original purchaser's other maroon colored funeral cars.

Steering Wheel, if you look close you can see "Dynaflow."

Left side. Note the "Dynaflow" over the fender.

Interior, looking a bit shabby.

Interior, after I recarpeted and redid the curtains (yes, that's a reproduction of the original color of the carpet!).

Interior, closeup.

Check out that chrome!

Check out that license plate holder - it took 3 weeks to find a custom license plate holder shop that would do that.
